PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform operation for quickly pulling up an electrode tip part, that is, an electrode, in an arc position adjustment mechanism of a vacuum arc melting device.SOLUTION: By interposing a coil spring 18 between a positioning stopper 7 and a stopper for fixation contacting on the lower side of the positioning stopper of an arc position adjustment mechanism, spring repulsive force is generated, which continuously pushes up the positioning stopper upward in moving an electrode in a lower direction. Excessive melting and contact between a sample and the electrode are prevented, and a proper arc discharge position can be held. |
