PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can set a proper width direction position at each transferred paper sheet.SOLUTION: A printer 100 has: a drawing needle 25 arranged on a feeder board 22; detection means 50 which can detect a width direction position of a paper sheet P on the feeder board 22; and a control part CONT which controls the drive of the drawing needle 25. The detection means 50 detects a position of an apex C of a lens part P1 at each passing paper sheet P at prescribed timing. The control part CONT calculates deviation between the position information of the apex C which is detected by the detection means 50 and a stored line L, adjusts a drive amount of a drive motor of the drawing needle 25, adjusts a moving amount of the drawing needle 25 at each passing paper sheet P, and controls the apex C so as to pass over the line L. |
