PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire manufacturing method in which occurrences of standing waves in and around a breaker layer and air pockets in crown parts of tread are suppressed, and to provide a pneumatic tire manufactured by the manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire including tread formed out of a predetermined tread rubber composition comprises: a step A of extrusion molding of an unvulcanized tread rubber composition, thereby obtaining a raw tread extruded product to which concave profiles are added; a step B of bonding the tread extruded product to another unvulcanized rubber composition, thereby obtaining an unvulcanized raw cover; and a step C of vulcanizing the obtained unvulcanized raw cover in a vulcanization metal mold. The concave profiles of a predetermined size are provided at positions at which crown main groove convex portions provided on an inner surface of the vulcanization metal mold in the step C are extruded. |
