<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a recording medium stacked on a discharge part can be directly cooled and safety and the stacking property of the recording medium can be maintained.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a fixing part heating and pressurizing a recording medium, to perform fixing processing of a toner image, a recording medium stacking part stacking the recording medium after fixing processing by the fixing part, a cooled unit arranged just under the recording medium stacking part, a cooling fan sending out an air flow to between the cooled unit and the recording medium stacking part, a rotation part rotatably supported by the recording medium stacking part, and an energizing member energizing the rotation end of the rotation part upward. When a predetermined number of recording mediums or more is stacked on the recording medium stacking part, the rotation part is rotated downward against the energizing force of the energizing member, so that an opening is formed between the recording medium stacking part and the rotation part and the air flow sent out by the cooling fan passes through the opening, to come into contact with the recording medium stacked on the recording medium stacking part.</p> |
