PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet binding and sorting apparatus that can facilitate efficient use of paper sheets.SOLUTION: A paper sheet processing apparatus for processing paper sheets comprises accumulating means provided with a plurality of accumulating units that accumulates paper sheets, recognizing means that recognizes at least the type of each sheet and whether or not each sheet is a folded one having any folded part, and paper sheet feeding means that feeds the paper sheets having undergone recognition by the recognizing means to the accumulating units according to the result of the recognition. |
