PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire in which current-carrying performance is adequately ensured and furthermore driving stability, ride quality evaluation and durability are improved in a well balanced manner.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a non-conductive carcass 4 and a side wall rubber 6 provided outside the carcass 4. The side wall rubber 6 includes a conductive intermediate rubber 6c which is sandwiched between a non-conductive inside rubber 6a and a non-conductive outside rubber 6b from both tire width direction WD-sides to form a three-layered structure. The intermediate rubber 6c is connected electrically to a tread conductive part 5a which extends from a ground-contact surface to a tire width direction outside WD2 at the tread part 3 and is connected electrically to a rim contact surface at a bead part 1. Rubber hardness of the intermediate rubber 6c is set to be harder than those of the inside rubber 6a and the outside rubber 6b. In the tire meridian cross section, the cross sectional area of the intermediate rubber 6c is set to be less than 20% of the whole cross sectional area of the side wall rubber 6. |
