PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle driving support device capable of performing appropriate driving support control in each of an expressway and a general road.SOLUTION: The vehicle driving support device includes: a traffic light detection part for detecting the presence of a traffic light in an imaged picture in which the travelling direction of own vehicle is imaged; a road determination part for determining whether the own vehicle runs in an expressway or not; and a driving support control part that performs execution control of predetermined driving support operation depending on detection of a traffic light by the traffic light detection part as traffic light response control and that does not execute traffic light response control if the road determination part determines that the vehicle runs in the expressway. This allows unnecessary driving support operation not to be performed while the vehicle runs in the expressway. |
