PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector, a radiation detection method, and a computer program capable of detecting radiation with high sensitivity and accuracy.SOLUTION: A radiation detector 4 collects electrons generated by radiation inside a semiconductor block 13 by any of a plurality of anodes (first electrodes) 11, and counts a detection signal corresponding to a charge amount in a signal processing part 3. The electrons generated by radiation which is incident in the intermediate part among the plurality of anodes 11 are dispersed in the plurality of anodes 11 and then collected. When a peculiar signal which is the detection signal generated at this time is counted, the number of counts and energy of the radiation become obscure. The signal processing part 3 determines whether or not the detection signal is the peculiar signal based on temporal characteristics of the detection signal, and does not count the peculiar signal. As a result, detection accuracy can be increased without requiring a shield for reducing detection sensitivity. |
