PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of, after recovery of a communication line, transmitting a live image and transmitting image data of a period in which a communication trouble occurred.SOLUTION: An imaging unit 12 acquires image data, and a local storage 28 records the image data. A transmission and reception unit 24 transmits the image data as a live image via a communication line and, when a trouble occurs in the communication line and thereafter the communication line is recovered, transmits as a live image the image data acquired by the imaging unit 12 after the recovery of the communication line. A re-transmission and reception unit 32, after the recovery of the communication line, acquires from the local storage 28 the image data newly acquired by the imaging unit 12 during the trouble period and transmits the image data to an acquisition request source via the communication line. |
