<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidery data preparation device which can select a suitable thread color to represent an image including a specific object premised on a specific color.SOLUTION: A CPU of an embroidery data preparation device arranges multiple segments in an area corresponding to an original image on the basis of graphics data. When the image includes a human face, the CPU determines at least one color of thread color for skin near to a standard skin color from thread colors used for sewing actually according to a ratio of the face area in the image. When an attention segment Li is in the face area (S53:YES) and a distance di between an attention segment color Ai and the standard skin color in RGB space is less than a first threshold r2 (S56:YES), the CPU assigns a color which is the nearest to the attention segment color Ai in thread colors for skin to the attention segment Li as an application thread color(S66). When the attention segment Li is not in the face area (S53: NO), an application thread color which is nearest to the attention segment color Ai is assigned (S54).</p> |
