PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primer composition having a low environmental load which can impart adhesive strength and durability, is excellent in film forming properties, has low viscosity, and is small in viscosity change even if a solvent is not used.SOLUTION: A primer composition to be applied to the surface of a material bondable by an epoxy adhesive. The primer has a viscosity of 3-30 Pa s at a prescribed temperature, and includes epoxy resins, a curing agent, a curing catalyst, and an inorganic oxide filler comprising at least a silica powder and a titanium oxide powder. As the epoxy resins, a bifunctional epoxy resin containing at least a bisphenol A type epoxy resin, and a polyfunctional epoxy resin containing at least a phenol novolak type epoxy resin are used together. The total surface area of the inorganic oxide filler mixed in 100 g of the total of the epoxy resins is in a range of from 350 to 700 m, and the total volume of the inorganic oxide filler is in a range of from 20 to 50 cm. |
