PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot press method for a plated steel sheet which enables formability of an Al-plated steel sheet to be improved by suppressing a decrease in hot wettability of the Al-plated steel sheet.SOLUTION: In the hot press method for a plated steel sheet related to this invention, by using a metal mold in which a surface treating film having a thickness of 0.5-50 μm and made of a nitride, an oxide, a boride, a carbide, or metal Cr is formed in at least a part in contact with a workpiece and which has a surface roughness Ra of 0.01-1 μm, the plated steel sheet is hot-pressed which has Al plated layers with a coating weight of 40-200 g/m2 on both surfaces of the plated steel sheet and has films formed on the Al plated layers and mainly composed of ZnO of 0.3-3 g/min terms of a metal Zn amount. |
