The present invention relates to a sheet-type electrode for a secondary battery, to a manufacturing method of the electrode, to a secondary battery including the electrode and to a cable-type secondary battery including the electrode, wherein the electrode comprises: a current collector; an electrode active material layer formed on one side of the current collector; a conductive layer formed on the electrode active material layer, comprising a conductive material and a binder; and a first porous support layer formed on the conductive layer. According to the present invention, the flexibility of the sheet-type electrode can be greatly enhanced by introducing the support layer to at least one side of the sheet-type electrode. Furthermore, the electrode active material layer is prevented from being deintercalated in the current collector even when an intense external force is applied to the battery, thereby preventing decrease in battery capacity and enhancing the cycle life characteristics of the battery. In addition, the sheet-type electrode comprises the porous support layer, thereby promoting the inflow of an electrolyte into the electrode active material layer, and pores in the porous support layer are impregnated with the electrolyte, thereby preventing increase in resistance within the battery to prevent decrease in battery performance. |
