摘要 <p>According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are an X-ray detector which can count the number of incidence photons separately according to multiple energy bands and can reduce digital motions by increasing the counter of only the biggest threshold voltage among threshold voltages smaller than a peak value of a voltage signal generated by the photons, an X-ray imaging apparatus with the same, and a controlling method thereof. The disclosed X-ray detector comprises: a light receiving element which generates positive charges corresponding to energy of incidence photons when the incidence of photons occurs; a comparison unit including multiple comparators which compare a voltage signal corresponding to the generated positive charges with threshold voltages respectively corresponding to multiple energy bands, and output the comparison results as pulse signals; a counter unit including multiple counters which are placed by the threshold voltages in order to count a pulse at a specific state; and a synchronous control circuit unit which is placed between the comparison unit and the counter unit, outputs a pulse at the specific state to a counter for the biggest threshold voltage among threshold voltages smaller than a peak value of the voltage signal when pulse signals outputted from the multiple comparators are inputted, and outputs a pulse opposite to the specific state to the rest counters.</p>
