PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a smooth panning operation at an almost constant speed while performing image shake correction.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: a shake detection part for detecting the shake of an imaging device in photography; an image shake correction part for correcting the shake of a photographic image in photography; a movement detection part for detecting whether or not a field angle moving operation for moving a field angle to be imaged by the imaging device in a constant direction is being executed on the basis of the detection result of the shake detection part; a speed setting part for setting the target speed of the field angle moving operation; a calculation part for calculating the correction amount of the image shake correction part on the basis of a difference between the target speed set by the speed setting part and the speed of the shake detected by the shake detection part; and a control part for, when it is detected that the field angle moving operation is being executed by the movement detection part, controlling the movement of the image shake correction part on the basis of the correction amount calculated by the calculation part. |
