PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toll collection system that does not need a second antenna device and can perform appropriate toll calculation processing when registration contents of an on-vehicle device and an actual measurement result are different, and in the case where the second antenna device is installed, that can cope if a vehicle of which registration contents of the on-vehicle device and an actual measurement result have been different fails in radio communication processing with the second antenna device.SOLUTION: A toll collection system performs, at a tollgate of a toll road, collection processing of a use charge for the toll road of a vehicle by performing radio communication with an on-vehicle device mounted on the vehicle approaching the tollgate. The toll collection system distributes vehicle information measured from the vehicle to the exit side of the tollgate when at the entrance side of the tollgate, vehicle information registered with an on-vehicle device and the vehicle information measured from the vehicle are different, calculates a use charge using the distributed vehicle information, and thereby performs adequate toll collection processing. |
