PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler block capable of being easily taken out of a turnout.SOLUTION: A filler block 1 is placed between a lead rail 2 together with a tongue rail 3 connected with the lead rail 2 and a stock rail 4 adjacent to the lead rail 2 and the tongue rail 3. A concavity 11 extending in a rail direction to reach both ends is formed on a bottom of the filler block 1. The concavity 11 is made into a shape that does not interfere with a turnout tie plate 5 when the filler block 1 is moved backward in the turnout between the lead rail 2 and the stock rail 4. Thus, movement of the filler block 1 backward in the turnout is not limited by the turnout tie plate 5. |
