PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to generate an image, in which a focused part of a captured image is highlighted and is presented to a user, in an easy-to-view manner and appropriately present the focused part.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: a focused region determination unit for determining a focused region in target image data; a distribution information generation unit for generating distribution information of an edge evaluation value by setting the determined focused region as a target; a threshold value setting unit for, using the generated distribution information, variably setting a threshold value for use in highlight part determination; and a display data generation unit for selecting a highlight part in the image data using the set threshold value, and generating display data for highlighting the selected part. The threshold value is variably set using the distribution information of the edge evaluation value in the focused region, so it is possible to appropriately select the highlight part using the threshold value. |
