PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition that has short fibers highly dispersed in adhesive without impairing adhesiveness, a fiber coated with the adhesive composition, a rubber member using the fiber, and a pneumatic tire and a run-flat tire using the rubber member.SOLUTION: An adhesive composition comprises: (A) a cellulose fiber which is a super extra-fine fiber having a fiber diameter of 2-1,000 nm and has hydroxyl groups at least a part of which is modified with at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of a carboxyl group and an aldehyde group; (B) a thermosetting condensation product having a structure in which aromatics are bonded by methylene; and (C) a rubber latex.
