PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flowmeter capable of ensuring measurement accuracy in a state with little attenuation ultrasonic waves.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic flowmeter includes: a pair of ultrasonic wave transducers 6 and 7; a measurement flow path 4 having a rectangular cross-section; and a flow rate control sheet 8 disposed between the pair of ultrasonic waves transducers 6 and 7 the measurement flow path 4. The flow rate control sheet 8 has openings 9 and 10 each of which goes from an ultrasonic wave transmission surface of ultrasonic waves transducers 6 and 7 to the measurement flow path 4, which are smaller than concave portions 11 and 12. With this, generation of vortex p, q in the concave portions 11 and 12 which may cause a measurement error is reduced and measurement accuracy is ensured in a state with little attenuation of ultrasonic waves. |
