PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate optical design that prevents deterioration in appearance beauty without reduction in optical performance.SOLUTION: A method of designing a pair of right and left spectacle lenses includes a calculation step that, when there is a difference in a radius of curvature between the right and left spectacle lenses in any of coordinate points in first refractive planes of right and left spectacle lenses selected on the basis of prescription information, calculates a first radius of curvature existing between a radius of curvature of the left spectacle lens and a radius of curvature of the right spectacle lens. The method is configured to perform optical design of the right and left spectacle lenses respectively, using the first radius of curvature calculated by the calculation step. |
