PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an imaging method in which a user can confirm relation between captured image data and a segment region.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes a CPU 10, a vibration isolation area change part 107, a monitor 114, a region information generation part 117, and an image superposition part 118. The CPU 10 performs camera shake correction processing by moving a position of a segment region in captured image data on the basis of an angular velocity detected by a gyro sensor 101. The vibration isolation area change part 107 changes a size of the segment region for the captured image data on the basis of the detected angular velocity. The region information generation part 117 generates region information including information indicating a relative size between a region of the captured image data and the segment region. The image superposition part 118 superposes the region information to the image data of the segment region. The monitor 114 displays the image of the segment region to which the region information is superposed. |
