PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device capable of providing high durability and safety by effectively suppressing occurrence of gas generated by decomposition of electrolyte even when excessive discharging is repeated, with high energy density being provided.SOLUTION: A power storage device includes an electrode unit in which a positive electrode where a positive electrode active material layer is formed on a positive electrode collector and a negative electrode in which a negative electrode active material layer is formed on a negative electrode collector are alternately laminated through a separator, and an electrolyte made from aprotic organic solvent electrolyte solution of lithium salt. 0.8≤a/b≤1.0 is satisfied, where, cell capacity a(mAh) is a capacity (available) after discharging from a fully charged state of the power storage device by taking time period of 0.75-1.25 hours down to a half of fully charged voltage, and perfect negative electrode capacity b(mAh) is a capacity available by discharging a negative electrode of a fully charged state of the power storage device down to a state in which a negative electrode potential comes to be 1.5 V(Li/Li). |
