<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner which can effectively diffuse attenuated incident light from a front panel and applies it to the surface of a deodorizing filter.SOLUTION: An air cleaner includes: a dust collection filter which collects dust; a deodorizing filter which is disposed in front of the dust collection filter and to which a photocatalytic function is given; a prefilter which is disposed on the front surface of the deodorizing filter and captures relatively large dust; a main body part which opens a front surface thereof to store the dust collection filter and the deodorizing filter; a front panel which covers the front surface of the main body part and is attachable to and detachable from the main body part; an air suction port which is formed in front of the deodorizing filter; and a motor-driven blower which takes in air through the air suction port and makes the air pass through the deodorizing filter and the dust collection filter. The front panel is formed of a material allowing passage of light exhibiting the photocatalytic function. A net-like filter member formed in the prefilter is subjected to a treatment enabling light diffusion.</p> |
