PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston pump capable of protecting a pump function component to an overload, while suppressing increase in a number of components and man-hour increase.SOLUTION: A piston pump 100 is equipped with a pump portion 1, and a motor portion 2 for actuating the pump portion. The pump portion is provided with a plurality of pistons 7, a cylinder 6 which has a plurality of cylinder chambers 6a for storing those pistons, and a swash plate 19 for respectively reciprocating the pistons. The pump portion is provided with a relief valve 101 which opens and relieves a discharged fluid from the cylinder chambers when pressure on a discharge side of the piston pump becomes fixed pressure or more. The cylinder has a relief path 6b for relieving the discharged fluid from the cylinder chamber, and the relief valve is directly stored in the relief path. |
