The present invention provides a CAN communication method for transmitting frames from a transmission terminal to a reception terminal connected to a CAN network, comprising the steps of: transmitting a plurality of frames, into which a message exceeding a preset size is divided, to the reception terminal according to a request from the reception terminal; checking a frame where a transmission error occurs as a flow control frame, including sequence information of the frame where the transmission error occurs, is received from the reception terminal; and re-transmitting the frame where the transmission error occurs.
