A server to provide a mosaic channel guide includes: a broadcast stream receiving unit which receives multiple broadcast streams which correspond to multiple broadcast channels from a broadcast platform; a viewer ratings information receiving unit which receives viewer ratings information of each of the multiple broadcast channels from a statistical system; a template generating unit which generates a mosaic channel guide template based on the viewer ratings information; a streams synthesizing unit which synthesizes multiple streams into a mosaic channel guide stream based on the mosaic channel guide template; and a transmitting unit which transmits the mosaic channel guide stream to a user terminal.
