PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purification device mounted with NOreduction catalyst means which improves a NOreduction rate with a honeycomb body supporting a catalyst activated at high temperature arranged at an upstream side and the honeycomb body supporting the catalyst activated at low temperature arranged at a downstream side.SOLUTION: A honeycomb body 1 comprises: a first honeycomb body 1A which is positioned at an upstream side of exhaust gas G and supports a first catalyst containing at least one of either iron, cupper or vanadium; and a second honeycomb body 1B which is positioned at a downstream side of the first honeycomb body 1A and supports a second catalyst containing zeolite and either platinum or palladium. The second honeycomb body 1B has a function to purify an ammonia reduction agent which passes through the first honeycomb body 1A without being consumed. |
