PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimp terminal capable of miniaturizing a wire barrel while achieving an excellent holding force of a core wire and excellent electrical characteristics.SOLUTION: Provided is a crimp terminal having a wire barrel crimped so as to be wound around a core wire exposed from an electric wire. Three groove parts extending in a direction crossing the core wire are formed on a surface where the core wire is placed, of the wire barrel. When a wire barrel width of the wire barrel in a direction in which the core wire is extended is defined as Lw, a barrel end width from the central part in a width direction of a groove part located at one end side in a width direction of the wire barrel among the three groove parts to an end part in the width direction of the wire barrel close to the groove part is defined as A, a barrel end width from the central part in the width direction of the groove part located at the other end side to an end part in the width direction of the wire barrel close to the groove part is defined as A, a groove pitch interval is defined as P, and a groove width is defined as S, the following formula (1): Lw=(A+A)+2×P, and the following formula (2): P<S×4, are satisfied. |
