PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing apparatus and an image forming system, capable of preventing a stopper provided in printed sheet stacking means from sliding down without using any member for slowing down a printed sheet ejected from an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A post-processing apparatus 3 collects printed sheets ejected from an image forming apparatus and applies post-processing to the collected printed sheets. The post-processing apparatus 3 comprises: stacking means 23; a stopper 50; a motor 52; and control means 4. The stacking means 23 collects and stacks a plurality of printed sheets with one end of each of the printed sheets directed downwards. The stopper 50 is movable and stops each of the printed sheets sliding down in the stacking means. The motor 52 moves the stopper 50 along the stacking means 23 and stops the stopper. The control means 4 controls the motor 52. The control means 4 increases a current supplied to the motor 52 when a printed sheet collides against the stopper 50.
