PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cast rods and tubes which keep the internal texture of the metallic material improved and have various cross-sectional shapes with favorable quality and high productivity.SOLUTION: In a cast rod and tube manufacturing apparatus, which comprises a molten metal furnace 11 that holds a molten casting material and a cast formation part 13 that has a molten metal invasion part 15 where the molten metal invades and communicates with the molten metal furnace 11, a magnetic field generation part 17 arranged around the cast formation part 13 is made to carry an electric current to control the circulation of the molten metal under the action of an electromagnetic force working on each other between the electric current and the magnetic field.
