PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize electronic equipment capable of easily handling a handwritten document.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the electronic equipment includes display processing means, determination means, and preservation processing means. The display processing means displays a plurality of input handwriting strokes on the screen of the electronic equipment. The determination means determines the top-bottom direction of the plurality of strokes. The preservation means preserves, in a storage medium, handwritten data including a plurality of stroke data corresponding to the plurality of strokes and a plurality of direction information pertaining to the top-bottom direction of the plurality of strokes. The determination means determines the top-bottom direction of the plurality of strokes by using at least one of the inclination direction of the electronic equipment determined in accordance with input of an acceleration sensor and positional relationship between the electronic equipment and a user determined in accordance with the result of face recognition using an image acquired by a camera module. |
