<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery residual quantity display device and a battery residual quantity display method capable of understanding by intuition the battery residual quantity which fluctuates in accordance with the running situation or regenerative situation of an electric car or the use state of a car electric power.SOLUTION: A stored electric power quantity stored in a battery at the starting time of an electric car and a charged quantity charged by an electric power generation based on the actuation of a regenerative brake after the start of the electric car are managed as regenerative energy, and the battery residual quantity is displayed separately as a first battery residual quantity 51 by the main energy and as a second battery residual quantity 52 by the regenerative energy. In each of the first battery residual quantity 51 and the second battery residual quantity 52, the displays of the residual quantities are not frequently increased or decreased so that the battery residual quantity varying with the running situation or regenerative situation of the electric car or the use state of the car electric power can be understood in intuition by the user.</p> |
