PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying device capable of reducing variation in carrying speed of a sheet.SOLUTION: A sheet carrying device comprises: a cylindrical rotation axis 102; and at least one carrying belt 107 stretched on an outer peripheral surface of the rotation axis 102. The sheet carrying device comprises a guide member 105 for guiding a sheet S to a direction where the sheet S is separated from the carrying belt before a part for supporting the sheet S out of the carrying belt 107 reaches a curve position P1 which curves along the outer peripheral surface of the rotation axis 102.
