PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of easily and speedily identifying a unit or member causing density unevenness when it occurs in an image.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes: a drive unit for moving the position of at least one of the units or members constituting the image formation device from a predetermined position; a detection unit for detecting density unevenness occurring on an image formed on a transfer material; and a control unit. The control unit compares the movements x1-x13 of the units or members when the drive unit moves them with variation x0 between the position of the density unevenness 151 before the units or members are moved and the position of the density unevenness 151 after the units or members are moved, and determines whether the movements x1-x13 are substantially equal to the variation x0. |
