PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle model determination device which determines a vehicle model efficiently.SOLUTION: An inventive vehicle model determination device includes a stereoscopic camera, a first distance measurement part, a coordinate conversion part, a first vehicle height measurement part, a vehicle width measurement part, and a determination part. The first distance measurement part calculates a distance between the stereoscopic camera and a subject from images photographed by the stereoscopic camera. The coordinate conversion part generates a distance image indicating distances each between each point of the images photographed by the stereoscopic camera and a predetermined position on the basis of the distances calculated by the first distance measurement part. The first vehicle height measurement part measures a vehicle height of a vehicle photographed by the stereoscopic camera on the basis of the distance image. The vehicle width measurement part measures a vehicle width of the vehicle photographed by the stereoscopic camera on the basis of the distance image. The determination part determines a vehicle model of the vehicle on the basis of the vehicle width of the vehicle and the vehicle height of the vehicle. |
