PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of detecting concentration of components in an exhaust gas.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas sensor applied in an exhaust gas component detector includes a plurality of detection electrodes arranged on one surface of a solid electrolyte. Reference electrodes to be paired with the detection electrodes respectively are arranged on a surface opposite to the one surface of the solid electrolyte. When predetermined different voltages are applied to each of the electrode pairs formed of the detection electrodes and atmospheric electrodes, the exhaust gas component detector detects a current flowing in each of the electrode pair or a correlation value thereof, and estimates concentration of a specific component in the exhaust gas according to the detected current or the correlation value thereof. |
