A hydrogen and air supply device of a fuel cell stack according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of unit cells including a membrane electrode assembly having a polymer electrolyte membrane, an anode and a cathode, an air entrance manifold arranged at both sides of the membrane electrode assembly, having a cooling water channel, an air channel, and a fuel channel formed thereon and intercommunicating with the air channel, and a separation plate having a fuel entrance manifold intercommunicating with the fuel channel; end plates arranged at both ends of the unit cells to pressurize and couple the unit cells, having an air entrance manifold at a position corresponding to the air entrance manifold of the separation plate and having a fuel entrance manifold at a position corresponding to the fuel entrance manifold of the separation plate; a hydrogen supply unit arranged at the fuel entrance manifold formed on the separation plate and the fuel entrance manifold formed on the end plates to supply hydrogen to the anode through the fuel channel by periods; and an air supply unit arranged at the air entrance manifold formed on the separation plate and the air entrance plate formed on the end plates to supply air continuously and constantly to the unit cells while varying the opening area of an air inlet for supplying air according to the positions of the unit cells. |
