CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating diabetes complication contains Lithocarpus dealbatus Hook. extract as an active ingredient. The Lithocarpus dealbatus Hook. extract is isolated using water, low alcohol of C1-C4, or mixture solvent thereof. The composition additionally contains fraction which is obtained by fractioning Lithocarpus dealbatus Hook. extract using organic solvent. The fraction is obtained by fractioning with normal-hexane, ethyl acetate, normal-butanol, and water in order.
