METHOD FOR CONTROLLING FUNCTION OF OPERATION SYSTEM AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE

Provided are a method to control a function of an operating system (OS) and an electronic device thereof. The method comprises the steps of: determining content data to be called by an application wherein the OS function is running on the electronic device; displaying the content data overlapped on the application on a display when the OS function is called by the application; and returning from the display to the display of the application when the OS function is disabled by the application.
