The present invention relates to a walking assistance device, which can assist elder and feeble persons who cannot walk easily or rehabilitation patients who cannot work independently by changing an angle of a handle such that walkers can walk independently and conveniently and which can absorb impact from obstacles during walking and allow persons to freely brake the walking assistance device by applying a weight thereto. The walking assistance device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a pair of frames made from metal for supporting walkers on the ground; a connection bar fixedly installed between the frames to connect the frames to each other; a handle part provided on the frames and rotatable such that the walker can grip the handle part at a desired angle; and a driving unit fixedly installed at lower front ends of the frames to absorb impact during walking and to brake the walking assistance device as the weight of the walker is applied thereto. |
