<p>PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof are provided to improve image quality by supplying a corrected common voltage according to the pixel data. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel(102) includes a plurality of pixel areas in which a plurality of gate lines and data lines intersect. A data counter(110) counts the gradation value of the digital data outputted to each sub pixel in the pixel area. A common voltage generator(112) supplies the corrected common voltage to the liquid crystal panel by correcting the common voltage according to the count value after quantizing the count value.</p> |
