PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator comprising a heat source-side first heat exchanger performing multiple-stage compression, functioning as an evaporator in a first operation state, and functioning as a chiller in a second operation state; and a heat source-side second heat exchanger functioning as an evaporator provided in parallel to the heat source-side heat exchanger in the first operation state, and functioning as a chiller of refrigerant at an intermediate pressure in the second operation state, and capable of adjusting the overheat degree of merger refrigerant between refrigerant flowing out from the heat source-side first heat exchanger and that flowing out from the heat source-side second heat exchanger while ensuring an evaporation capability of either the heat source-side first heat exchanger or the heat source-side second heat exchanger in the first operation state.SOLUTION: If a fourth outdoor heat exchanger 44 and first to third outdoor heat exchangers 41 to 43 are made to function as evaporators connected in parallel in a first operation state, first and second outdoor expansion valves 47 and 48 are used to exert a control such that refrigerant on an outlet of the fourth outdoor heat exchanger 44 tends to be humid and that refrigerant at outlets of the first to third heat exchangers 41 to 43 tend to be dry. |
