<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for changing a needle bar of a sewing machine.SOLUTION: An apparatus for changing a needle bar of a sewing machine comprises a needle bar cartridge accommodating a plurality of needle bars. A longitudinally slidable groove is provided on a side of a needle bar hole on the needle bar on the needle bar cartridge, and the needle bar is engaged with the slidable groove. A holding vessel for needle bar cartridge, comprising a control guide rail, is provided on one side of the needle cartridge. In addition, the control guide rail is mutually engaged with another needle bar and is provided with a longitudinal opening. Further, a needle bar guide rod is engaged in the corresponding needle bar positioned in the longitudinal opening in the plurality of needle bars. The needle bar guide rod is vertically moved in combination with a crank communicating bar. Finally, the needle bar cartridge is driven and positioned with a driving device. Among them, the needle bar hole is moved to the longitudinally opening, and the needle bar guide rod allows a position to be sewn to appear in a straight arrangement. So, the needle bar which is stably positioned by selectively moving it in the position to be sewn is vertically moved by driving the needle bar guide rod. The other needle bars which are not moved in the position to be sewn cannot be vertically moved by restricting a control track.</p> |
