<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to accurately predict tire performance.SOLUTION: A tire performance prediction method comprises: setting a tire model 30 of a tire divided into a finite number of tire elements and a road surface model 40 of a road surface in contact with the tire model 30 divided into a finite number of tire surface elements; applying an angular velocity and a translation speed to a rotational axis of the tire model 30; calculating a slip ratio of the tire model 30 by changing at least either the angular velocity or the translation speed; and calculating traction performance of the tire model 30 relative to the slip ratio.</p> |
