<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the change of a subject image or a composition during the shift of a photography unfeasible state to a photography feasible state or in the case of an abrupt change in optical characteristics from being observed by an optical finder.SOLUTION: A single-lens reflex camera 115 includes: a main mirror 119a; mirror drive means 125 for allowing the main mirror to move between a mirror-down position and a mirror-up position; and a camera CPU 116 for, when it is determined to perform initialization processing of positioning at least a part of a photographic optical system at a predetermined position, and the main mirror is not positioned at the mirror-up position, controlling the mirror drive means to allow the main mirror to move to the mirror-up position. The camera CPU transmits a drive instruction for the initialization processing to a lens CPU 102 after the main mirror is positioned at the mirror-up position (S307).</p> |
