A terminal device that communicates with a base-station device. Said terminal device is provided with the following: a reception unit that receives information pertaining to a first setting, information pertaining to a second setting, and a downlink control information (DCI) format; and a transmission unit that, if an uplink signal is scheduled on the basis of said DCI format, transmits said uplink signal to the aforementioned base-station device. This terminal device switches DCI formats for each subframe set.
