The present invention relates to a speed increaser for a wind power generator that is mounted on the wind power generator. The present invention includes a fixed plate; a circular gear shaft that is mounted on the fixed plate and is supplied with and transmits a torque which is transmitted from a blade operated to rotate by wind; a central gear shaft that is mounted below the fixed plate and transmits the supplied torque to a generator; gear means configured to have a circular gear that is supplied with the torque which is transmitted from the circular gear shaft for speed increase before transmission to the central gear shaft, has a cylindrical shape with an open lower portion, has a shaft connecting section formed at the center of an upper portion for coupling with the circular gear shaft, and has a gear portion formed in an inner surface, a central gear that is coupled with the central gear shaft, and an engaging connecting gear that is disposed apart from and between the circular gear and the central gear; and a case that surrounds the fixed plate and the gear means. According to the present invention, a rotation speed that is transmitted from the blade is increased by the circular gear, the connecting gear, and the central gear so that the generator can be driven at a high speed. Accordingly, a large amount of electricity can be produced. |
