METHOD OF PREDICTING SEED VIABILITY

The present invention relates to a method for predicting the vitality of a seed, which comprises: (a) a step of performing artificial aging on a seed in order to have a germination percentage of 0-100%; (b) a step of scanning the artificially aged seed using a near-infrared spectrometric analyzer and then obtaining spectrum data; and (c) a step of obtaining a calibration curve by analyzing the germination percentage and the spectrum data. In addition, the present invention relates to a system for predicting the vitality of a seed, which predicts the vitality of a seed using the above method.
