<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a packaging material which can package without increasing the number of components even when packaging one kind selected from multiple kinds of objects to be packaged having a panel shape with a different width. The packaging material is to package one kind selected from multiple kinds of objects (P1-P4) to be packaged having a panel shape with a different width. The packaging material (1) comprises: a container main body (20); a cover body (10); and a side protective member (30) which protects both side units (Ps) of the selected object being packaged. Multiple side unit protective arms (32a-32d) having a length according to the multiple kinds of objects to be packaged are formed in the side protective member (30).
